I loved the room we stayed in Junior spa suite). Checking in and out and breakfast, staff were wonderful. But, when we came back to hotel at night we went into the bar and ordered a bucket of ice (just wanted to have a few drinks in our room). Bartender got it for us, and when we went to leave to go to our room he said you can’t take it with you ? What did he think we were going to do with it, he said order through room service. We had to pass reception to get to elevators so we asked them to order it, which they said was fine. 30 minutes later , still no ice. I rang reception , concierge and room service, no answer. After continuing to ring reception answered and said she was dealing with another guest no problem. 10 minutes later, no ice. Tried ringing again and eventually voice mail. Left an angry message and still no ice. I was expecting a bucket of water by our door in the morning , but nothing. Pretty sad ending to our stay. Also this was 9:30 at night, so not even late.

Didn’t like much, ageing abs could do with an upgrade. Check out was horrendous. Cheapest toilet paper I’ve been unfortunate to have to use in a hotel

I stay here for the location only. After a long day I like to relax in my room but have to resort to watching something on my iPad as there is only TV available. No movies to hire. No ability to AirPlay my device to the TV. Also the room service meal quality has been very disappointing. Stale crackers with the very basic cheese. Soup with too much pepper. I’ll probably stay there again because of the location but it isn’t great.

I was in a room with an adjoining door and was kept awake by next door resident playing loud and obscene DVD? /Movie on repeat. Definitely not in person but a recorded session. This continued from late at night until early morning.
