Would have like to have been notified that there would be scaffolding right outside our window prior to booking. Also the room was right next to the lift which was well lit and the bedroom door let in lots of light right around the whole door, through straight onto the bed. It made the room very light all night long.

The first thing we didnt like was to be asked for our credit cards to take a bond of $100.00for the room, we had paid this weeks before. I said it is not required unless we are paying CASH then a bond is required, as I refused to pay the bond the manager came out of his office and told my wife and I the we were not welcome to his motel and we would get a refund in full. To be honest we were both very glad this happen as just standing in the foyer you could smell the horrible odour of old wet mouldy carpet and this was in just the foyer area so dare not think what the rooms were like, I am amazed the WOTIF advertise this so called motel .

Hi, I am the manager that you refer to in your account above. You are right on some points; you did fail to provide a bond, I did ask you to leave (for a completely separate reason) and I did break company policy and organise for you to get a full refund despite you having been evicted at fault. I think it’s important for other readers to note that the reason that you were asked to leave was because of the unacceptable way that you chose to speak to the receptionist that was trying to check you in. The reason that I came out to the front desk in the first place was because I heard you shouting at my receptionist through the closed door to my office that is specifically designed to reduce noise. I opened the door and listened in on what was happening and after hearing the aggression towards our team member as well as the language that you decided to use in your rant, allowing you to stay was not even an option. We love feedback and if there is an aspect of our service or policies that you do not like, you are more than welcome to bring this up with one of our staff or a manager but this must be done in a non-aggressive and non-threatening way. I’m not even going to address your comments regarding the foyer area. They are clearly an attempt to damage our reputation out of spite and I think that this will be blatantly obvious to those reading at home. I stand by what I said that day. You are not welcome at our motel, nor is anyone else that thinks it is acceptable to harass or intimidate our staff members.
