Excellent city location. We enjoyed room service and the food came quickly and was delicious. First time we have stayed anywhere with a complimentary mini bar and Nescafé coffee machine to enjoy. Loved it!!

My partner had organised a surprise to arrive at the room and unfortunately both the champagne and strawberries weren't in the room on arrival. We received mixed feedback from staff, one telling us that it should have been there, the staff who this was purchased from advising that everything would be in the room on arrival and if there were an issues my partner would be notified. When we rang up to ask what happened we were told there was a delay with room service, but we arrived an hour late. We then received a staff call late in the evening with a sincere apology and advising if there was anything we need, please ask. In the morning on checkout the desk staff member then explained that it was their policy to not deliver room service if a guess was late to avoid the food not being in pristine condition and on arrival it would then arrive. We received four very different scenarios and responses and it was a little disappointing to be honest. If there was consistency in the response then great we would have understood, but receiving mixed messages was frustrating to say the least. On top of that we had ordered breakky to the room and the coffee was cold and the food was Luke warm. The room however we couldn't fault and it is a beautiful space, it was just a shame about the service experience that let us down.
