I like the location of the accommodation and the staff that I dealt with were great. Having the room made up for you everyday on returning was great also. The problem was the fact that the fridge in room did not work and when I arrived the door of fridge had been left open leaving a bad smell in the room. The other problem was the mattress.... would have had a better sleep on a couple of half full wheat bags. The right side of bed had a huge low spot in the middle and at foot end, the mattress filling had gathered up. It was also sloping to the right giving you the feeling of falling out of bed.. The left side was not so bad but had a couple of gathered lumps in it around middle to lower back area. Rating on this room should be a 2, but the facility on a whole is nice.

Thank you for you review. It is difficult for us to fix the issues when we do not know which room has the broken bed. The fridges are all turned off when the guests vacate the rooms to save on wasting electricity and should not cause any smell. It is unfortunate that this was the case on your stay. Your comments have been passed on to the relevant departments.

What I saw of public area nice! Have learned there are areas being renovated so that will improve the accommodation as Reception area and rooms could do with some welcoming touch ups and maintenance

I had a lake view, it was very nice. Room was ok, smallest bathroom I’ve ever seen, but clean enough. Bed was comfortable, but the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed in some time. There was no one at reception, I had to go into the bar and try to find the staff, a little uncomfortable.

booked room and got key didnt get too room late bed been slept in unmaid towels on floor no clean trowels people walking from balcony too balcony as partions broken been several times bit of a joke

Great view. Central to where we needed to be. Mannys kitchen looked after us. Thank you. Room not cleaned daily. We were there 7 days & we had to ask to get clean towels. Cleaning not great. But overall for the price we paid it was okay.

The only good thing about this hotel is the lake view & the meals although took a long time were beautiful. The lady who booked us in at the bar wanted us to wait an hour because it was done online the booking didn’t show through telling us it takes an hour but neglected to tell us this on the phone when I rang 15 mins earlier to enquire & told me to do it online. Paid for a Spa room - what a joke. Big enough for a child definitely not an adult wasn’t impressed after a huge day travelling & wanted a small treat. Will definitely not stay there again, will not recommend either. May go back to the restaurant in warmer weather, the young girl there was very polite & helpful & the food was great but the restaurant was freezing. Disappointing 🙁
