Great Hotel

This is a lovely boutique hotel with antique furniture. There’s a nice wine bar and a tapas place on the first floor. They valet your car too!

From day 1 our sink wasn't draining properly. Given 1 free drink ticket per night per person, but treated poorly when asking for the free drink. No fan in the bathroom. Cleaning staff give you the stink eye if you don't let them clean the rooms on their schedule.

We loved the central location of the hotel, we were able to walk to several areas from there, i.e. Japantown, Embarcadero, Chinatown, etc. The number of homeless people in the area is unfortunate, however we did not feel threatened by their presence.

Hotel is a short walk to union square and the trains. The staff is very nice and helpful. The fit and finish of some things in the room I was in could’ve been better but I wouldn’t detour that from your stay. The place was pleasant to stay and clean

Hotel doesn’t honor what they tell you at check in

When we checked in the staff said we wouldn’t have to pay the hotel service fee as we booked via Hotel.com. I wish I recorded that as when we checked out they refused to remove the $31 day charge.
