"Nice Hotel restaurant and roof top heated pools"
The hotel is good and staff very friendly. The room that we are staying is clean but a bit worn. It has great restaurant. My family and I enjoyed the roof top swimming pool and hot pool very much.

"Nice view, quiet area, poor gym."
We had a pleasant and comfy stay, nice lake, nice place for holiday, but the wall soundproof is not good, the gym facilities don't work. Besides that, overall nice stay!

"Spic and span"
We stay in Rotorua a lot, always book two rooms, and have previously stayed in a range of hotels and motels, The Quest is much better located with far fresher and cleaner rooms than any motels we know of. It is much better value than any of the hotels we have stayed in over the years. The connecting room arrangement where a studio connects with a one bedroom apartment is OK, but means that the living space is smaller than you would usually get in 2 bed apartment. This will now be the first place we look when booking future trips to Rotorua.

"Very Convenient"
I was with my parents and we had a room worth 2 queen size beds. It work well except for sharing a bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the facilities were fine. If you are elderly, be aware the shower is over the bath and may be difficult to get in and out of. Less than 3 minutes walk to the Polynesian Spa and shops. The breakfast is overpriced at $26 you are better off going into town or around to the shopping mall 10 minutes walk away

"Pleasantly suprised"
We were pleasantly suprised by this hotel. It was very nice, noisy fridge and fan in bathroom made for a restless sleep but overall we were impressed. Would stay again

    Iconic landmarks and attractions

The biggest lake in Rotorua (and the second biggest on New Zealand’s North Island) is the aptly named Lake Rotorua, and there are many ways to explore it – along with the rest of Rotorua’s lakes - including taking a ride on a paddle steamer, going on a guided kayaking tour or river rafting down a waterfall. Take a boat cruise along Lake Rotomahaha, a lake surrounded by unspoilt wilderness that boasts its very own geothermal system. At Lake Rotoiti you can kayak straight into caves full of sparkling glowworms.

Whether you have kids or not, Agroventures Adventure Park is the home of all kinds of unique attractions, including the world’s only pedal-powered suspended monorail: Schweeb.

There are plenty of opportunities to relax and unwind in one of Rotorua’s mud bath spas, including the Hell’s Gate and Wai Ora spas, where you can rejuvenate in a healing mud bath or sulphur spa.

Rotorua is a popular and much-loved mountain biking destination, with heaps of trails in areas like Whakarewarewa Forest.

And when you feel like getting something to eat, head to Rotorua’s vibrant Eat Streat, full of café and restaurant options.
