Our flight was delayed to the next morning by weather. We arrived the next morning at 0900. We were told that our booking of three nights had been cancelled and was non refundable. I had sent an email to the hotel via Hotel.com link informing of the delay to our check-in. On arrival the receptionist was adamant that the room was cancelled and no email had been received. After much persuasion I managed to get her to look for the email again properly, this took quite a while, not what you want after 3 hours sleep, and after much sucking of teeth she begrudgingly re-instated our final two nights without apology. The resort fee I feel is extortionate, as arriving on a Saturday i'm unlikely to get my free laundry done in time for Monday, Resort credit was not valid in the rooftop bar which was closed 45 minutes early on the Sunday and on a sightseeing trip to NYC i'm unlikely to at 63 to use the gym. The room was clean with a view but with no in-room tea or coffee making. I found the decoration of the bathroom rather disturbing as trying to pee with "machine gun Kelly's wife" watching you and another criminal watching over your shoulder can be off putting.

Great property. The bed is comfortable, but if you’re planning to go in the evening, make plans because the elevator gets busy with the rooftop which gets really annoying and the valley parking at $70 a night and there’s nowhere else to park.

Loved it. Great NYC view of Chrysler Building and bridge. Playful school themed design in every feature. Convenient to both tram and F train. Nearby secure self parking. Free coffee in the am. Walking trails and park, Roosevelt history. Hit all the marks for us! So close to the city without feeling crammed into a crowded hotel and a big plus not having to worry about having access to our rental car.

graduation stay

We were there during graduation week. The room was clean, housekeeper Maria was very accommodating to clean it in between our busy schedule of going in and out of the room. The reception desk assistants , both in check out and check in were a bit rude, maybe it is the NYC thing. Suggest to make a reservation for breakfast, otherwise when the hotel is full , there is a long wait.

Great location, but room amenities were lacking I recently stayed at the Hilton Hotel in New York. The location was excellent and the hotel itself looked stylish and clean. Staff were polite and helpful. However, I was surprised to find that the room did not include some basic amenities—no electric kettle, no toothbrush or toothpaste, and no slippers. The room was also quite small and lacked a sofa, which made it feel a bit cramped. Overall, the stay was decent, mainly thanks to the location, but the in-room experience could be improved.

The views, the service and its location are spectacular! Felt so safe and welcoming! Enjoyed taking the tram and the Ferry to and from the island. The metro was a quick alternative too. A wonderful experience!

Such a nice place to rest after the hustle and bustle. The skyline view is a joy to go to sleep to and wake up to in the am. Property seems new and is kept very clean. Would highly recommend.
