Room was clean. Staff was courteous. The main elevators were under repair for nearly all my stay. That left only the small staff elevators. There were long lines to get a chance to go to our rooms. I would have walked, but my room was on the 16th floor

I like the Belvedere. Its location is great for a Broadway theater going weekend. The rooms are surprisingly large for a NY tourist hotel. The bathrooms are nice - great shower. My only complaint is that one of the central elevators was under “modernization” and it took forever to get an elevator. Even with the two service elevators available to guests - they were busy and slow, too.

Great location, great value. Arrived to NYC via Penn Station. Easy & safe walk from Penn Station to hotel. Also walked to/from USS Intrepid museum which was a great “to do.” Hotel staff was friendly and I was allowed to leave my luggage there after check-out for the day while walking around the City.

The location cannot be beat. Fantastic location, clean rooms and friendly staff. Our room was older but good enough. Downside - they never refilled our handwash the entire time and the elevators were very very slow. Overall we had a great stay

There are a great number of benefits of staying at this hotel. Although there was one seasoned front desk clerk in particular who seemed a little too snippy for what should be expected from a welcoming front desk agent, it was still a great stay! The elevators are a little slow and small and frequently shut down, but there are at least 4 different ones - so if one is out, the others might work. The bellman service was top notch mostly for luggage storage option. Although, the ice machine is located only on the 1st floor, I'm glad they at least have one. The vending machine is kind of wild to charge $3 for a can of soda. Overall, the room was nice, esp. the fridge, microwave, and bath robe.
