I have been going to The Empire Hotel for many years. I love the location as it is close to everything, choices of shopping, restaurants and theaters. All the staff is great! Niya at the front desk is my favorite, curtious, professional, knowledgeable and always ready to help with her beautiful friendly smile.

Honestly the hotel itself looks great in the lobby but once you go up to your floor everything starts to look more worn down. Our room carpet was dirty just walking in I saw bits all over the floor. The molding on the wall is chipping and one and looks like it been repainted and repainted. Bathroom has several parts that were dirty and chipped. The beds were stiff and felt like a box spring was in my rib the whole night. And going back to when we arrived, I’m aware we made it in early and that’s on us cause check in ls later but there was no room available until my exact check in time and that’s not nice of the staff she saw I had kids. We know very well housekeeping gets into clean those rooms early. They just didn’t care to let me know earlier. And once I came back to get my room key they only had two people in the front desk and we had to wait for about 20 mins to get our keys. The only positive I will give were the concierge gentlemen out at the front door which were super nice and helpful and the security lady which was also very much willing to help. I don’t review much for good or bad but overall im just disappointed. I definitely wouldn’t return.
