Rooms were kept clean, but I was put in a handicapped room without asking if I had a physical disability. No upgrades were offered, and no water offered for late check-ins since the gift shop was already closed. Not expecting special treatment since I am a Gold Elite Bonvoy Member, but to promote a good customer experience, at least offer something. A very noisy spot on the 36th floor. The male front desk attendant who assisted me (close to midnight) was rude given the fact that I was tired of connecting flights.

The rooms were good, when we finally got into them, but we'd booked 2 double rooms as we were 5 adults (2 parents and 3 adult kids) when we arrived we were told we had an upgrade to a suite for one of the rooms (sounded great!) But were then told we had about an hours wait for the other room! ( This was 1am) however they could offer us a single king size room for the one night and then move to another double the next day. We had no choice but to accept this as we needed sleep, but it meant one of us was sleeping on a sofa. The staff were apologetic but there was an issue the next day after we got back they still hadn't allocated us a 2nd room. That was more messing about until they were finally able to get us into another room which was on a different floor from our other room.

The only real advantage of this hotel is its location. Unfortunately, everything else falls short. The lobby is dirty and overcrowded, serving mainly as a holding area for guests waiting to check in or check out. luckily, we checked in at an unconventional time as I was coming in from a redeye… Otherwise plan on waiting in the check-in line for over an hour! The lounge/restaurant was similarly unkempt, with food and trash left around. The rooms are acceptable—small, but likely standard for a Times Square property. Housekeeping was another challenge; we had to repeatedly request that our room be cleaned each day. While this was the most affordable option in the area, the experience reflected the price. I won’t be staying here again.

The room was old, with scratches everywhere and dirty windows. The blinds didn’t close properly. There were no amenities in the room — no fridge, just old, unusable furniture. The staff was okay, but the place really needs to be updated.

We got a 35 dollars credit that could be redeemed. We could not hit the bar to use it but it was great that we could use it to buy some snacks and drinks in the convenience store in Starbucks. The location was great in proximity to everything. All the amenities were just what we needed for the one night stay.

The room was clean and comfortable. The main issue was we had reported the shade was broken upon arrival and hanging down over the window and we could not lift the shade to enjoy the view and light in room. Also, the handle on the inside if the bathroom door was broken and kept falling off. My sister accompanying us is a travel agent.
