Property is not maintained. From necessity to esthetics they are just letting it go. Our room has broken toilet paper holder. Half used single ply toilet paper roll seating on top of toilet. Bathroom vents do not work. In room phone does not work. Shower was so nasty we had to go to pharmacy nearby and buy flip flops - could not step into it barefoot. Body wash was filled with barely soapy water and I had to ask for soap dispenser to be filled. Pictures are taken off the walls with holes left behind both in the room and hallways. We found previous guest’s glasses on the floor near bed. If you want robe and slippers, you have to ask.

The hotel is in an ideal spot. The guys at the door and the bellhop are all so fabulous, friendly, and super helpful. That's where the good parts end. During peak tourist season where people constantly leave their bags to explore, why would they only assign one bellhop (who, by the way, works super hard to get the line moving with a smile on this face)? The front desk didn't have any sense of urgency. The room is ok. The fridge did NOT keep temperature at all - it was as if it was in its lowest setting. A drawer handle was broken, there's accumulating dust in the bathroom vent, and there are two different types and sizes of bath towels. Good thing I was busy exploring so I didn't stay too long in the room, except to sleep and shower, but some basic maintenance would come in very useful.

Someone open our door without wait for answer when hi just knock one time, then he proceeds to open my door, I call front desk to explain my situation but they told me they are going to check and call me back but they never do it. We had housekeeping twice in a whole week. We ask for clean towels at afternoon and the people in front desk get mad saying wasn’t time to ask for towels. Generally the entrance smells like mariguana, the room was so dusty and we have lint everywhere.

HAIR There was hair everywhere in our room. From the bathroom ceiling to the walls. Mold in the sink. Doors falling off the cabinets. We had no DND sign for our door so we had to be woken up by the house keeping multiple times. Stained hand towels. There was a pile of dirt in the hallway that stayed there for our whole duration of the stay of 3 days. I was able to label every piece of hair alphabetically and I still ran out of letters.

The stay here at Millennium is well worth the trip. If flying anywhere in to NYC this is definitely the Hotel to go to. The staff is amazing, friendly and helpful. It is also a great location because they are literally around the corner from Time Square not to mention they are also broadway stage plays within walking distance a 2-4 minute walk. I will definitely be staying there at Millennium on my next trip back to NYC.
