Room was dirty, baseboards coming off the corner. The furniture looks like it’s 30 yrs old, all beat up. Bathroom wall paint was not even finished and dirty. Shower drain clogged up and water filled the bottom. No fridge in room so our expensive leftovers went bad… in house restaurant and bar is permanently closed so you have to leave the hotel to have a drink or food. Service was fine but just really disappointed in our stay. First time the kids noticed and said something about the quality of the hotel….

Didn’t have hot water 3 days out of the 6 days stayed, Not happy with a cold shower while it was freezing cold in NY. A loose door or something heavy was banging on the roof so being on the 50th floor I can hear everything all night. I usually don’t complain but can’t let this go.

Room was very worn. The air didn’t work. We had to keep the windows open which was very loud from the New York noises. The hot water didn’t work for 1 1/2 days. Furniture very scratched up, worn, and old. We would not stay there again.

The view is very beautiful and incredible. The lobby is very nice, and when you go to the room is from the moment you leave the censor (which is not very safe according to the constant noise that is felt) in the corridor when you are outside the elevator you can imagine what you are going to find, some rooms are very old full of bumps and marks on the furniture, Everything stained even the bathroom lid, broken skirting boards, not even a fresh paint on the walls. Honestly horrible inside the rooms.

The location is perfect! You can hear the elevators but it is equal to noise from Time Square. But it is worth it to see Broadway, 1/2 block to subway, 6 blocks from Grand Central.

Excellent location. Very friendly check out, front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was not clean , found hair on the bed and a dirty towel. Maintenance can be improved much better. Overall , great experience.

Arrived early, able to drop bags off until room was available. Courteous attendant, good conversation. Later on when our room was available, made our way to 45th floor. Room was nice, good view of some of Times Square but not room that we had paid for. We’re supposed to have a ball drop view room and it wasn’t close to where this one was. Somewhat disappointed but made this one work for us. Short distance to 6th Avenue to watch Macy’s Parade and similar distance to Times Square. Other than the room view we were expecting, everything else was nice. Make sure you communicate if you are supposed to have a particular room view.

This is an older hotel and it shows once you enter the room. Our room had a funny smell -carpet should be replaced and the tub filled up with water when taking a shower and would not drain. Furniture was dusty. Great location but hotel has seen better days.
