The room was as expected but the reception staff were so dismissive and unpleasant that it made any interaction with them difficult. Perhaps this is the New York way, but should it be the Holiday Inn way? Also, the trash and affected people congregated/lying outside the hotel every evening is very off-putting.

Very convenient location for bus stand, shopping and the popular times square. Very helpful staffs. I highly recommend all to stay and enjoy their holiday at New York City.

Great location, the only issue this hotel has are the elevators. During rush hour (8am or 6pm), it gets pretty hectic to go down and up. Had to wait 12 minutes one time.

Had a great stay for a week at the Holiday Inn. Room comfortable and large enough especially for New York. In the middle of everything so it's gonna be noisy at the front of the hotel but you get used to it. Reception and security staff all friendly. Maid did a fab job every day. Had breakfast in hot l just the first day, not much choice but there was pl nry if what there was, waiter was lovely. Would b expensive to do this everyday unless included in your room rate. Windows could do with a wash and the curtains were grim. Seating space outside hotel door that's open to.public 24/7 this did tend to get a bit noisy some nights. 7/11 next door, bakery next door other way with great pastries. 2 bros pizza across road to right looks filthy and rough but fabulous pizza
