Property entrance was impressive with its 1920’s style but the room was tired and in need of a refurbishment - air con very noisy with a rattle & wasn’t working well, bathroom door lock falling out & no hot water for a whole day. Staff very serious about life so didn’t make you feel that welcoming.

I didn't expect a hotel basically in Times Square to be quiet, but it was. Friendly and helpful staff, great location, clean rooms and facilities, and a rather good restaurant, too.

Perfect location to the shows and all the restaurants. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Both restaurants onsite offer great food and service. The Rum bar in the lobby had great music and drinks and food for after the show fun.

Clean rooms and excellent location for theatres

My friend and I enjoyed one night in NYC at the Hotel Edison to see Wicked at the Gershwin. It was an excellent location, right on Times Square, easy access to a subway and waling distance to many food locations and theatres. The staff was very helpful and courteous and the rooms were well kept and clean. I would stay here again and again!

Our stay at the Edison was to watch a Broadway musical and shop. The Edison is a perfect location for both due to being steps from Time Square with unlimited shopping options and Broadway shows!

It’s very convenient place, because it’s close to everything, you can walk around with no problem. In the meantime, some of the stuff aren’t really good on taking care of clients, the check-in is at 3 PM, I showed up a little bit earlier, the lady said the room wouldn’t be ready until 3:45 PM. But I should receive a text message saying when it was ready, I never got a text message, when I went to the reception another guy treat me really bad. He was actually very loud. I just asked him if the room was ready because she said I would get the text and I didn’t get anything and he was very rude saying that we don’t text you after 3 PM. I told him I should’ve been tell that otherwise I would come in at 3 PM, especially because I had a baby with me, but he didn’t really care about it. He just said if you would come here at 3 PM we would give you the key and I tell him listen. I am just asking you to treat me well because this is not my fault, the lady said I had to wait for the text message. I had no idea I had to come in here at 3 PM if I had already checked in at 2:30 PM. The other thing I don’t like it was that heater was not working at my room and on my sister‘s room. The heat was way too high and they couldn’t put it down. Overall was OK because I was there for less than 24 hours, I wouldn’t get back there, especially because of the stuff members, but if you don’t care about this, it’s pretty close to everything, it’s just a little bit busy on the street but it’s convenient.

The website says they had in room dining, but that is not true. That was very upsetting. Also, from time to time, the water in the bathroom ran brown. The location was great and the restaurant and bars inside the building were awesome. The location was perfect for broadway shows and times square. My stay wasnt terrible, i had a great time, but probably wouldnt stay there again.
