The room was too old like they were too cheap to renovate. The t.v was brand new… in the 1900’s. Other than that, staff was amazing, beds were clean, and the diner was delicious with such a great variety.

Staff were all great. Could not have done more for us. Shampagne on Reception was just wonderful, she treated us so well. We are so thankful and grateful to her. Great Italian restaurant in foyer, and the diner Tick Tock. And discovered The Butcher & Banker in the basement on the last night! Great Speakeasy bar and grill. Great bar man.

Being walking distance to Broadway theatres is the only feature of this hotel I can recommend. The lobby and room were dated, shabby, and unwelcoming. The room was average sized for NYC, but it and particularly the bathroom were in dire need of renovation. The bed was adequate. It's a historic building, but I didn't expect it to feel worn out and defeated. Storing luggage at the hotel costs $5/bag, which is a convenience I've never been charged for at another hotel. This service was prompt, and the staff we interacted with were helpful.

The rooms are really run down and not qhats pictured at all! The walls are so thin you can hear the people next to you just having a normal communication.
