This hotel was very clean and safe. We were able to walk to shopping on 5th ave and saw a Broadway show all within a short walk. The staff was friendly and helpful from the valet to the bell hop to the front desk.

Poor drainage in the shower, bad wifi when trying to connect to a laptop but for some reason the phones were fine. Poor room amenities for a luxury brand. No microwave or fridge.

The area is not the best. Homeless people, marijuana smell everywhere, a dead person in the middle of the street, close to the hotel, rude people in the street, an unsafe feeling in the area. The hotel people very nice.

Internet was slow. The internet page does not clarify that bigger rooms are in low level floors. We payed for a bigger room and they set it up for 11th or 12TH floors. IN NEW YORK CITY EVERYBODY WANTS A VIEW. We moved to a smaller room in a higher floor.
