Was offered an 'upgrade' - the room was large and lovely but NO plates, glasses etc to use the microwave, wine fridge but no glasses or bottle opener. Rang to ask for some and was rudely told to go 'buy some at the souvenir shop'. Never been to an establishment that has SO much waste, plastic cups, cutlery - their reasoning is they're still blaming covid! Extremely rude door man who literally held our luggage hostage until we got into the cab that 'he' wanted us to. Would never stay there again.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Lack of Customer Service and Accountability My recent stay at this hotel was, without a doubt, the most disappointing hospitality experience I have ever encountered. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that customer service was not a priority. Any attempt to seek assistance was met with indifference, and no member of the staff demonstrated a willingness to help. Multiple issues I experienced went entirely unaddressed, with no support offered. Even Expedia attempted to intervene on my behalf, but the hotel repeatedly disconnected the call upon realizing who was calling. This level of unprofessionalism is simply unacceptable. I stayed in the Presidential Suite, which, while aesthetically pleasing, had several functional issues. The television did not work, and the air conditioning unit was excessively loud—akin to being in a construction zone. Despite numerous calls to the front desk throughout the night, no one ever answered. When I personally went down to request assistance, I was assured that someone would be sent to resolve the issue, yet no action was taken. I am currently working with Expedia to secure a refund; however, they, too, have been unable to reach anyone at the hotel to approve the request. For anyone considering staying here, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. The complete lack of customer support and accountability makes this property one to avoid.

We were unable to take showers because the shower did not work. We talked to the front desk and their tricks did not get the shower working. The room was somewhat clean but even though there were 2 beds in the room there were only enough towels for one person. Such a disappointment.

Property is ok, great location if you want to use subway because it’s right next to grand central station and 5 min from time square via subway. Hotel bathroom was dirty. If you don’t plan on being in your room and not looking for top end hotel this is the place for you.

Fine, except for the helicopters.

The hotel was centrally located and easy to find. The art in the lobby was very cool and the checkin was easy. They added a $50 fee to the bill, of which $15 was a credit to spend in the hotel marketplace. However, it was confusing to use this credit as prices were not marked and the drinks and food were very expensive. Room was a good size for NY and the bed was comfy. Our room was situated close to the elevator and the sound of the elevators going up and down all night long sounded like we were under attack from helicopters. We mentioned it to the front desk in the morning and she laughed and was not surprised. I'd recommend requesting a room far away from the elevators unless you like the sound of helicopters all night long.
