We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. It looks like they are doing updates to the hotel. Reception check in was easy & staff were great. We had the buffet breakfast which was good value (if you paid the $25 the night before). The room was spacious, clean and tidy but I was a bit perplexed as to the bathroom layout. The bathroom has been updated but I found it odd that the toilet is directly to the left of the door so if anyone is using the toilet you cannot open the door to go in (unless they leave the door open). The oversized vanity is against the far wall & has a large sink with the tap in the far left corner of the basin & due to vanity being quite high, this makes it difficult to use. The shower is a bit oversized also and has a massively unnecessary rain showerhead and the water runs along the top of the edge of the tiles and doesn’t drain properly. So I personally think they need to re-think the design of the bathroom. Other than that, we were happy with the hotel as it is conveniently located and would stay again in future.

Had to park the car next door and walk up stairs which looked creepy and smelt urine , Was given a room with the view of our condition motors , The Front door of the room had so much gap on the bottom and sides you could almost see inside, which caused it to hear so much noise in the corridor as well , The TV was too small and wasn’t a smart tv , Had to pay for movies , The wifi didn’t even work , The lifts were too slow ,

Bedside lamps had usb charging, room was a good size for our overnight stay, bed was very comfortable. Only draw back was if you want breakfast at the reduced price it has to be ordered the day before, we didn't arrive until after the cut off time, so we sourced breakfast from a different establishment.

Staff were friendly and the room itself was perfectly clean, comfortable, and quiet (apart from partying neighbours down the hall one night). I would have rated the hotel higher but there were a couple of factors that brought it down. First, I specifically included the pool in our search criteria when looking for our accommodation. Upon booking, there was a notice that the hotel elevators would be undergoing some repairs/upgrades and as such there may be some construction noise during the day as well as disruptions or delays in service. That sounded reasonably fine. But there was no mention of the pool also being closed for repairs. When we checked in, I specifically asked about access to the pool and the gym. The receptionist merely stated they were located on the first floor (which I should have queried because I remembered the pool was rooftop). Later that evening I called reception from my room to ask about the hours for the pool, and it was only at that point it was explained the pool was closed for renovations! This was highly disappointing to me when it was specifically included in my search criteria! Second, in the corridor to our room there was always a dirty room service food tray left on the floor for several hours each day. Minor issue but still brings down the overall cleanliness vibe. But overall still a comfortable and convenient place to sleep. I’d probably stay there again.
