"Great Hotel close to the Beach"
We were only there briefly however have already decided we must book again. Immaculately clean and extremely well presented. Spacious and comfy. The outside is a little rustic compared to the glamorous high rises all around, however the room was extremely modern inside and had everything you need for a short break. We were a little disappointed there wasn't a balcony though.

"Great location, great staff!"
Only one little criticism, paid for our room in full weeks before staying. Get to hotel and they want $200 deposit on the room, take it out of your credit card and then takes up to 5 working days to get back. This should be told to people before they stay. I paid $200 cash and they did give it back to me after they checked our room on departure!

"Great stay but be careful with your booking."
The Hotel is very clean with great amenities. It is very close to the centre of Surfers Paradise with everything near by. Just be careful booking rooms online. I booked a 3 person room. It turned out I should have looked more closely. When I checked in the 3 person room is a King size bed. Which as I was told can sleep 3 people. So I had to get a trundle bed at $40 extra per night.

    Why book with Wotif ?

    Gold Coast Beach Accommodation

Fun fact: Gold Coast is Australia’s largest metro area that is not a state capital. And that isn’t counting the 12 million visitors it sees every year. Surprised? You shouldn’t be. Goldie is so great, travellers come from all over and just can’t bring themselves to leave.

If you can’t stay, you can at least enjoy a luxurious holiday at Gold Coast beach accommodation. Goldie hotels earn a gold medal for comfort, convenience and plenty of good times. Just make sure you keep track of time—you may be tempted to stay forever!

The Golden Sands of Gold Coast

We know most people are looking for beach hotels in Gold Coast for one reason: the area’s sweet stretches of spotless sand. The beach is the number one place to be on Australia’s most celebrity-laden, sunshine-filled coast.

Surfers Paradise is just what it sounds like: heaven on Earth for those in search of the perfect wave. Kooks can get down on a lesson before paddling out. Pros can take right to the water, enjoying the beach’s super-dependable, relatively easy breaks.

There’s another beach for pros, too: the legendary Superbank in Coolangatta. There’s a reason the Quiksilver Pro Surfing Competition is held here each year, and this break is tops on the list of any serious surfer.

Gold Coast Hotels Near the Beach

We also know you probably don’t want to be carrying your surf gear too far—or even your towel and thongs. This is a holiday, after all. We’ve got you covered.

    • Kirra Surf Apartments: If you came to surf the Superbank, this is your spot. Located beachfront in Coolangatta, these one to three-bedroom serviced apartments have a surf shop right downstairs. Plus, all apartments have stunning views, private balconies and access to the heated pool and free Wi-Fi.
    • Sandpiper Apartments: Wanna spot a celeb? These comfy digs are located in Broadbeach, stomping grounds for the likes of Orlando Bloom and Justin Bieber. You don’t have to spend like a celebrity, though. Just book a room at the Sandpiper and you’ll be right in the middle of it all.

Whether you want to catch some surf breaks, test out those beach volleyball skills or just throw out a towel and soak up the rays, Gold Coast beach hotels have it all. And you don’t have to wait until you get there to have “stars” in your eyes: Wotif’s great deals will excite you as much as a Kylie Minogue spotting. Book today, and bring your sunnies—you’re about to be dazzled in more ways than one.
