When we arrived our room wasn't ready but we were immediately given another one.

Have stayed at Ibis hotels before, no surprises, good value for money, nothing fancy, would stay again no problem.
Ibis Sydney East is close to a large variety of restaurants, shops, and major attractions. Easy walk to the city centre. This is a real value for money hotel and the staff are very helpful.
Just another hotel really, there's no real reception you just go to the bar and get your key. Very clean though. Was a bit noisy being that it's on top of a bar and the bar staff weren't very friendly but other than that I have nothing bad to say about this place.
Our stay was brilliant at the Wattle. The room was large and clean. Bathroom could have done with a new shower curtain. It was very Darlo. The roof top terrace was shabby chic with an astounding view. Good chance to chat with other guests who were all very friendly. Would definitely stay again. The area is not for the faint hearted, but perfect for us. Evan at reception, in particular, was very friendly, welcoming and helpful.
