Disliked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities
Our room was extremely disappointing from a cleanliness perspective. Almost every area needed attention, including the coffee table, kitchen and cabinetry, bathroom, and lounge area. Even the cups had coffee stains, making it feel as though the room had not been properly cleaned before our arrival.
The balcony was also unusable when we arrived. The outdoor furniture was covered in dust, dirt, and cat hair, while the decking had a torn-up doormat and bird droppings. We had to ask staff to clean the area before we could use it.
To the credit of the property, the lady at reception was very helpful and personally ensured the balcony was cleaned, which we greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, despite her efforts, the overall standard of cleanliness throughout the accommodation was well below what we expected.
On a positive note, the food at the on-site restaurant was very enjoyable and represented excellent value for money.
