I am sorry that there were long lines on arrival, we had a large number of last minute reservations, which in all honestly caught us out - had we known it was going to be so busy we would have been more prepared. The issue noted with housekeeping servicing your room later is aligned to my comment about check-in. I am sorry that you found our team to be okay, but not friendly - this certainly isn't the usual feedback we received about our team. We will certainly focus on improving our overall service. Kia ora Mark, We are really disappointed that you had a such a poor experience while staying with us. I trust that you actually highlighted these issues to our team while you were staying to allow us a chance to rectify your experience, we are always very happy to offer a room move as soon as we're made aware of any issues whatsoever. We have found that since having virtually no business for 12 weeks, our AC units have started to cause us a bit of a challenge. In fact across the past week we have had to replace a number of AC units. We’re not too sure what has caused this, but we suspect with the units not being operational for such an extended period of time, and then back in use this has caused electrical and mechanical faults to arise. We are doing our best to keep on top of these, however we don’t know that an AC unit is going to fault, until it does – even with AC units that we’ve serviced we are seeing issue still come up, this is extremely frustrating for both us and our guests. We have not currently replaced our mini bars, as occupancy is still quite low and it is very expensive to reinstate these. The product is also subject to expiry dates - and to be fair we are operating under different challenges at the moment - it really is a shame that this isn't understood. I can assure you the TVs are not $20 TVs, however I understand the point that you're attempting to make here. Kindest regards Marcus
