Hotel staff were excellent throughout my only issue was breakfast on the Sat where they simply got overwhelmed Items were forgotten they ran out of numerous items like glasses, butter some food items etc. It is not a big breakfast area but this was made worse when people from outside the hotel were allowed in which made getting a table difficult. As had young children with us we used room service alot which was excellent. Everything else was to a high standard and I would book here again but drop the breakfast option.

Convenient location to shops, restaurants and transportation. However, the property is undergoing a renovation (as of March 2025) and although I was told by the receptionist I shouldnā€™t hear any loud noise in my room), the sound of drilling, probably from the room right above was so loud and irritating that I had to leave my room. The night light in the toilet was so bright (there didnā€™t seem to be a way to switch it off), it shone through 3 layers of glass walls in the bathroom straight into the sleeping area. I had to stack two metal trash cans to cover it so I can get some sleep. At check-in, I was not told that water is provided but I would have to request for it. I had just stayed at Intercontinental Auckland where there is a filtered water station on every floor so I thought it would be the same at this location. I told the morning receptionist Iā€™m checking out early and in the afternoon when Iā€™m checking out, another reception had no idea of my plan. My Platinum Elite status got me nothing at this hotel, not even a ā€œthank you for being a loyal customerā€. Overall, not a good stay.

A very comfortable bed..like sleeping on a cloud. Staff were all friendly.I stayed here because of the location and the pool area. The buffet breakfast was average but the coffee was terrible and it took far too long to arrive from somewhere near the lobby.

The staff went above and beyond at this hotel. Incredibly professional and knowledgeable. Valet parking was a bonus. Great breakfast with lots of variety. Bedroom was spacious and had everything you needed. Bed was comfortable. Lovely swimming pool area. Concierge was very helpful with further travel routes. I would definitely recommend.

The staff in this hotel is great, friendly and helpful. We had a flat tire and they graciously called Avis/24 road assistance for us. Breakfast was quite tasty.
