Nice shower pressure in the rather small shower. The hot water took a verrrrry long time to come through in the morning, (but was ok at night). The plugging mechanism in the ensuite sink in our room would not stay down resulting in the inability to fill the basin. I did inform the desk staff of this so hopefully it will be dealt to.

The staff was very friendly, but unfortunately, the cleanliness of the hotel was disappointing. Our room, as well as the entire floor, was not well-maintained. The carpet in our room had old gum embedded in it, and the hallway carpets were visibly dirty. Additionally, room service trays remained outside guests’ doors for over 24 hours before being picked up. Noise was another issue—throughout the night, we heard constant bumps from the walls, making it difficult to sleep. At one point, we strongly considered leaving and returning to the DoubleTree a block away, where we had a much better experience the previous week. Fortunately, that was the only place our traveling companions had picked out and we only had to survive one night. Overall, while the staff was welcoming, the lack of cleanliness and excessive noise made for an unpleasant stay.

Property was close to what we needed. I was a bit disappointed that I’d called to enquire about parking and was told I didn’t need to book, but when I arrived it was full and I had to go and park at the arena about 500 metres away. Distance was fine, but $48 was a bit more than I was expecting to have to pay

Room was old and tired. Bathroom was patched up around skirting. Old amenities but clean. No USB charging ports. could only find one AC mains plug point. A primary reason for booking was parking, which it had listed. But after we booked, email said that was additional $35! Had dinner in their restaurant - curried fish. Was awful - no curry, dry, quite tasteless. I ordered a drink and the waiter walked away. Had to call him back for my wife's drink order. Plus he didn't know what they stocked, luckily the bar woman was walking past, overheard and confirmed they had what I ordered. During dinner the staff were laughing, chatting & singing which was nice to hear but not when you have to raise your voice to talk to the person opposite you at the same table! We wont be staying at this place next time.
