Customer service was excellent, room cleanliness was also excellent. The bathroom was disappointing, shower head only, no shower hose, and shower space very small. The air conditioning was not working effectively if at all. Over all stay was below average. I have had better experience at other NZ Novotel.

Despite the dated decor, the rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The staff are helpful, friendly and responsive - and I was particularly pleased by the gluten free choices for breakfast. The hotel is also well located for all of the sites.

Room is outdated for a 4 star hotel. Staff is super friendly and helpful We did not use the amenities. We were upset with the equipment provided in the room. We used the Iron, but, with its old age, the heating settings were not clear, and my wife ended up burning my daughter clothes just prior to an important event to attend. We had to rush in and buy another clothing that cost around $300.

Room was fine. Not enough towels for a family of four but rectified by staff. Talking about them, very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Especially the young lady on evening shifts. Nice breakfast. Somewhat central setting once you get your bearings... Fantastic city. Awesome country.

I'm a return guest; the hotel is in a great central location and close to public transport. Spotless room, very friendly and helpful staff, great facilities including a bar. Breakfast had great variety, and the quality of food was fabulous, as always. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here again.
