"Great Location"
Room was fantastic, not big but very well laid out, very comfortable and clean. Love the decor and big windows allowing lots of natural light. Best location just away from the hustle, bustle and noise of Kings Cross but a simple 2 minute walk and you are in the thick of things with great restaurants, Kings Cross train station etc. Only negative would be the bar fridge is one of those sensor styles which I just don't like. Overall I was very pleased with the stay, if only they had a pool and spa I would stay there every visit, even now I am sure I will be staying again.

"Central and convenient, parking a shocker!"
My stay at the Cambridge was marred only by one major issue, the parking garage. While the Hen's Party in the room opposite was initially a cause for concern, they did head out relatively early and come back relatively quietly. The garage though, well - if you drive a small 4 cylinder car you probably have no problem navigating the tight turns and narrow parking spots. But drive a family sized car and you can find yourself sweating as much from stress as effort to squeeze the car into a parking space. The parking garage is a four storey subterranean affair which wends its way narrowly down and provides the barest amount of clearance for cars to transit from the entrance. There is one section of each level that allows one to pass another car - if they appear anywhere else, you both have to drive to or back up to that one passing spot. While a hotel stay is meant to be about the room and the activities outside, if you drive an average family sedan, this parking garage is akin to staying in a Japanese capsule hotel. Park at your peril!!

"Tidy enough and close enough to city centre"
Usual business hotels were through the roof, so I went for this one. It was tidier than I expected and the staff were helpful. Free internet too, which was handy

    Accommodation In Paddington

If you’re going to Sydney and want to stay somewhere with boutique shopping and great food, come to Paddington! It’s only three kilometres from the CBD, and with plenty of public transport around, Sydney’s most famous sights are easy to get to. One of the main streets here is Oxford Street, famous for upmarket shops and the annual Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. It leads into Darlinghurst, a suburb packed with bars and nightclubs. Shopping, partying and the rest of Sydney’s amazing sights are all on your doorstep, and our Paddington hotels will help you strike just the right mix.

With heritage-listed Victorian buildings, Paddington combines an old-fashioned vibe with inner-city cool. Colourful terraced houses with cast-iron lace balconies share space with trees and lovely old churches.

With plenty of cafes nestled in the area, you won’t have to go far for a coffee or breakfast. The Intersection, also known as Five Ways, is one of Paddington’s most popular and charming shopping destinations. Sitting on the corner of Oxford Street and Glenmore Way, it focuses on local designers and boutiques you won’t find anywhere else. You’ll find exciting upcoming designers as well as several of the big names in Australian fashion, and then you can grab a coffee or head into a French or Thai restaurant. And the boutique shopping doesn’t end there. Lots of new designers get their start at Paddington Markets, which happens at Paddington Uniting Church on Oxford Street every Saturday and has over 150 stalls. With live music each week and new designers every month, it’s an ideal place to go for something different.

Art lover? You’ll love this place. Several small galleries in Paddington exist to showcase the work of local artists and photographers. If food is your passion, there are plenty of restaurants in the area worth checking out – but you’ll be happiest if you like Italian!

When it’s time for a drink, you can head to one of Paddington’s many corner pubs or simply walk a kilometre up the road to Darlinghurst, where you can party the night away with your choice of bars and clubs or opt for a more chilled evening seeing a Darlinghurst Theatre Company show at Eternity Playhouse.

Paddington’s location makes it a piece of cake to get a bus or a cab to the city and see the Sydney Opera House, the Harbour Bridge and Pitt Street Mall. So wot are you waiting for? Book your flights to Sydney now and enjoy the city from your Paddington accommodation.
