Novotel Sydney Manly Pacific - Manly Hotels

Novotel Sydney Manly Pacific

55 North Steyne, Manly - Map
"Convenient to Manly beach and the Corso"
Considering the room rate, it would be nice to have some inclusions. Be nice to have free parking, free Internet, a breakfast biscuit that doesn't cost $5. The room was nice enough but we just felt that we were being gouged for any extra that most other places include in the up-front price. The bed and pillows were really soft. Some might like this but we would have preferred a harder mattress and pillows.

Q Station Sydney Harbour National Park

1 North Head Scenic Drive, Manly - Map
"Unique accommodation in a special location. "
I have stayed here before, and found it a highlight of a visit to Sydney. The location on North Head is stunning, especially if you have a harbour view room (recommended). However, you need to read the room description carefully to make sure you know what you're getting, as this place is not your typical hotel. it is a short bus or taxi ride from the Manly ferry terminal, or a demanding 30 minute walk uphill. There is a small harbour beach onsite, or stunning Manly ocean beach is a bus, taxi or pleasant (downhill) walk away. It is good value if youre not looking for the standard hotel experience.

"Manly Boutique Hotel - Victoria Parade"
Arriving we went to a safe as instructed, opened it and retrieved our key, found our room as indicated. The room was very pleasant and clean. TV was a bit of a disappointment due to weak signals that display properly, a few channels worked, but most were garbage. A few of the light bulbs were out, but replaced promptly by management when we advised them. Breakfast menu was good and the staff very engaging. Overall it was very good value for its location, handy to the beach and the ferry.

This was our 2nd family stay here (2 adults and 3 kids) and thoroughly recommend for anyone wanting a comfortable place to stay and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Located across the road from Manly surf club which was great too plus next door to a cool place for a beer afterwards.

Love the city, but also the beach? Visit Manly, located on Sydney’s northern shores, and get the best of both worlds. Discover some of Australia’s best beaches at this iconic Sydney resort town while enjoying activities sure to entertain and excite, whether you’re on a family vacation, romantic getaway or enjoying a weekend away with mates. Our Manly accommodation options will put you at the centre of the action and ready to experience all the area has to offer.

Manly is split into two areas: the harbour side and the ocean side. The harbour side is known for its swimming and wading areas with calm water as well as a ferry wharf. This wharf is the disembarkation point for visitors catching the Manly Ferry from Sydney. A must-do on its own, the Manly Ferry gives a half-hour tour of the areas surrounding Manly, including scenic views of Sydney Harbour and icons such as the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. The harbour side is home to the Manly Sea Life Sanctuary, which has some of the ocean's most incredible animals including seahorses, lionfish and a colony of adorable penguins. Feeling brave? You can even dive with sharks!

The ocean side is the area famed for its spectacular beaches, with a long stretch of sand that runs from Queenscliff Beach to Shelley Beach, with Manly Beach and Fairy Bower in the middle. Bring your surfboard and catch some waves, or hire a kayak or scuba gear to make the most of the beautiful, clear water. There’s also plenty to do in the area if you’d rather stay dry. Sink your toes into the sand and join a game of beach volleyball or cycle, stroll or roller blade down the promenade lined with Norfolk pine trees. When you’re finished having a dip or working up a sweat, relax by the seaside and enjoy an ice cream or freshly caught and cooked fish and chips. The ocean side is especially popular from May to November, with tourists and locals hoping to catch a glimpse of migrating whales and their calves. If you want to get even closer, hop on a whale watching cruise!

The ocean and harbour sides are joined by the Corso, which serves as Manly’s commercial district. A plaza dotted with palm trees and pale, sandstone brickwork, the Corso lends itself well to the beachside atmosphere. As far as dining in Manly goes, this is where you want to be. The Corso has dozens of al fresco cafes, fine restaurants and bars to sate any appetite. Have a craving for some retail therapy? The Corso has you covered too, with popular local brands and international boutiques setting up shop in the area. Pick up some new beachwear or something for everyday use.

We have accommodation for solo travellers, couples or families, with two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments. So wot are you waiting for? Book your Manly hotel and pack your swimmers, surfboard and sunscreen – it’s time to get ready for the beach holiday of a lifetime!
