Not great for families.

We stayed here for 2 nights to go to Universal Studios. We got a 2nd floor room facing the street. The traffic noise was horrible and made getting any type of restful sleep impossible. Pair that with the entire hallway smelling like a dispensary because someone was smoking in their room and it made the stay less than ideal. I shouldn't have to worry about my two kids getting a contact high from walking to our room at a Hilton. I expected more.

Fees fees and more fees

Nice hotel with very expensive fee’s. $45 a day to park, $125 a day for incidentals, which take 5-7 days to get your money back. And a TGIF’s down stairs.

Location is perfect - In the heart of the Hollywood area. 10 mins walking distance to Hollywood Boulevard and Walk of Fame. Door to door hike-able to the Hollywood sign. The room is as photographed but it needs some TLC. My room was a bit worn, the shower floor was stained and it feels a bit old. The hall way light stays on all night and it strongly shines through the gap of the door. Staff - Extremely polite and helpful. I came down with the flu on day 2 of my trip and they accommodated me so well (thank you).
