Check in was a nightmare was unaware visa debt would be a problem as I booked the property based on visa debt not being highlighted as an issue with many other hotels staff was initially not willing to let us stay and was quick to comment we wouldn’t be refunded the stay due to something in the fine print. Not a great way to start a stay at a 400$/night hotel will be staying at other properties after this experience.

The handicap room was great but it needed a longer shower curtain. Water leaked onto the floor.

The wifi was out of service for +24 hours while I had a full day of work calls and meetings and made this extremely challenging. I believe there should have been some compensation for this as it did cost me time with clients.

The room was large and clean. I had to keep my curtain closed since it looked at the fitness centre, which was not great. Some of the staff were really helpful, some not so much. Breakfast was pretty good mix of standard items. It was good having a Trader Joes next door and being able to walk to the pier

The hotel itself was really nice and in a great location, close to Santa Monica Boulevard and everything we wanted to see. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. The only downside was the number of homeless people around the area — I felt a bit uncomfortable walking back to the hotel at night. Overall though, it was still a great stay and a good base for exploring LA.
