Central location. Charming building. Rooms are small, but that's par for the course for the price in Central Londo. However the 3 stars is because the elevator was broken. It was broken for the duration of my stay (1 day.) To have a broken elevator at a hotel is inexcusable, imo. They should have had technicians working on it. I saw none during my stay. I dont think I can recommend this hotel due to the broken elevator.

Very clean and great staff. Elevator was out so third floor walk up was inconvenient. Strained my back on the effort and ended up leaving a day early. Overnight tried adjusting g the room temp down as the room was warm but it seemed to be controlled and could not cool the room below 24.5c

"Exceptional service and unbeatable location!" From the moment I arrived, the service at this hotel was truly outstanding. Every member of staff greeted me warmly and with a genuine smile, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere throughout my stay. The level of service was consistently excellent — nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Whether it was a quick question at reception or a small request, everything was handled efficiently and with care. The location is another huge highlight. Just a short walk from shops and restaurants, and perfectly connected to the Victoria line and bus routes, it made getting around London incredibly easy. Ideal for both sightseeing and everyday convenience. The amenities were also top-notch — everything I needed was either in the hotel or just around the corner. I genuinely couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and truly exceptional service. I’ll definitely be returning!

The Wellington by Blue Orchid had an amazingly friendly staff, beautiful hotel, great breakfast, and was a 10 minute walk to the closest Metro stop (Victoria Station). Please note, the “apartments” do not have AC - we first booked one of these and the room was quite hot despite opening a few windows, but the staff happily switched us to a regular room with excellent AC. Would definitely stay there again!

Loved it!

Loved the room! Staff was friendly and spoke english which helped a lot. Area feels safe and is very quiet. A lovely green park is right across the street. The near-by store owners were very helful and also friendly. We enjoyed out experience and would definely stay here again!

I liked the atmosphere outside, very cozy and beautiful. Was great for walking everywhere. I did not like. The bed was very hard, there was only one outlet to use for anything that needed to be charged or using blow dryer and the USB port was broken so that was not an option for charging phones, watches and power packs. The infused water outside never looked refreshing except early morning, and was always out of clean glasses. Needs to be checked on a regular bases.
