The lady in the front desk that worked the morning of the 6th of July needs to work on her customer service. As soon as we walked in the front door she looked at us like we personally dragged her out of bed to be at work that morning. We didn't get her name but she was very rude. The room was ok. Would like for it to have aircon or atleast a fan but it didn't have either. Bed was uncomfortable made a noise everytime someone moved. And was definitely not meant to sleep two people. Pillows were flat and uncomfortable too. The rest of the room was good. Checking out was good. They were very nice to hold our luggages while we explore London.

The team onsite removed all my belongings after night 1 of 2. It took a long time to get everything but my toiletries back, which they had got rid off. Three weeks later & I'm still trying to get compensation but my emails are generally being ignored. One saving grace was the wonderful duty manager at the time who went out of his way to help a dire situation (Sami).

Lack of communication from staff on check in. No information re facilities in the hotel or check out time. Staff appeared unbothered to help pr provide information. Poor explanation re parking also which we had booked via phone but when we arrived staff seemed to be clueless. Pool is nice but 1 lounger only unlike in the photos which is ridiculous for amount of rooms and people in the hotel. Changing rooms also not open and not told about this by reception. Noted several facilities on leaving like golf playroom etc on other floors which we weren’t made aware of likewise with food facilities if they even had any. Room okay but toilet tiny again not like pictures. Sink so small could barely wash your face in it. Bit of a disappointment. Only Good point was location one stop the 02 where we were watching Billie Eillish. Also amazing little portable bakery at the end of the road selling delicious croissants and coffees.

Always stayed at Ark Apart Hotel. Staff are always excellent and always willing to help. I would highly recommend staying at the Ark, where everything located in canar wharf. Easy access to central london.

The property and the surrounding neighborhood are both amazing. The gym and the pool are very nice amenities. The room was about as expected, but as I stayed in July it was very hot in the room due to no temperature control. There was an issue with my bathroom sink and the shower not draining properly, and even after reporting the problem to concierge, the issue was not fixed until nearly 24 hours later. Overall, I would recommend the Ark and would stay there again during more moderate temperatures.

The building was lovely and all the facilities were beautiful along side the views from the top, all I’d say is that the rooms are a bit hot and lack air conditioning. Would definitely stay again !!

Poor service - could be better

Corridors on floors were too hot, room was too hot, shower was tiny even and I’m only 5”3. We requested cutlery and plates twice, an hour in between each request and kept being told it would be sent to us - nothing happened. Walked past reception to go out to buy and saw the receptionist on WhatsApp. Communal kitchen also didn’t have any cutlery or crockery - which didn’t make sense because it’s a studio in a 4* hotel. However, pool views look great. Holding deposit, still not refunded after two business days…

Wouldn’t recommend, the room is boiling with no air con, requested plates for a takeaway I ordered and was given filthy plates, when I asked for the plates to be changed I was shouted at by a man demanding I show him where the dirt on the plate was. Terrible experience the tv also didn’t work in the room the only good part was the swimming pool.

The property was a hot box. Windows wouldn’t open, fans unsafe. Rooms smaller than the pictures show. No signal in the building. We didn’t stay we checked in saw the room and checked out. Hoping for a refund

Thank you for a comfortable stay

I had a couple of issues with my key card but they were sorted quickly. All staff were friendly and helpful. While I thought initially the DLR noise would bother me, the service finished as I was going to sleep and wasnt running at that weekend so i actually slept really well. Pool, steam room and sauna all really lovely
