My wife and I travel extensively all over the world. Most places we’ve stayed try very hard to be like this hotel, and most fail. The Blue Orchid at Tower Hill was magnificent! The staff was exceptional and the location was about as perfect as could be. Every time we travel to the UK, we will book our trips around availability at Blue Orchid! LOVED IT!!!

Everything was perfect, they gave us a free upgrade for our anniversary and everything was great... Just one thing let it down. It was so hot, I don't think the air conditioning worked and they didn't have any fans to offer. I had to wet a towel with cold water and sleep on that otherwise I'd have gotten no sleep. Other than that it was perfect. Clean, spacious, great breakfast, friendly staff... Really easy pick up from Uber... Loved it, would stay again, just bring a fan next time.

My husband and I stayed for about 2 weeks at the property for our anniversary trip to London. The staff was friendly the place was clean and the room was a decent size. The hotel is in a GREAT location. Tower bridge is about 2 mins away. The tube is literally around the corner and there are grocery stores and other food places in close proximity. The spa services are fantastic. My husband and I had a massage and it was amazing. Loved every minute of it! There are a few of things I did not like. The breakfast is egregiously overpriced for the options provided and the taste (honest opinion). We went once never went again. The restaurant is OK but the service needs work. I asked for a burger the waiter told me it was small, for a child. I looked out the window and saw an ADULT with a burger in the outside patio area and it was American size. Nothing in American is small. I was annoyed. I don’t like to be upsold. I just want what I want. Another gripe. I received a letter in my room upon arrival essentially saying I would receive a complimentary room upgrade. Went to the front desk, rooms were available, but I was told I would have to pay for the upgrade because it would inconvenience the hotel. I was taken aback but didn’t argue I just smiled and took the L like a champ lol. My thing is don’t offer something that you can’t accommodate. All in all, I might book again because it was a clean hotel, the tube is continently accessible, and it’s close to all the sights.
