Great little hotel in a fantastic location! 2 tube stations within minutes walk. Lots of great restaurants. The ladies at the front desk were wonderful. Room and bathroom were clean and looked like they were recently renovated. They were teeny tiny but were only there to sleep and were fine with the close quarters! One thing to note is there is no elevator so beware if you're on the top floor with bad knees it can be a bit of a hike! Also there is no air conditioning. It wasn't an issue for us as it was the beginning of March but it maybe an issue in the summer Overall I would stay here again...but request a lower floor!!

Great location when using St P station for say Eurostar, especially with early morning departures. Easily walkable. Seems a very safe area with pubs and restaurants close by.

I used to stay in this hotel on a weekly basis (pre-2020), but less often now due to the price. I stayed in a compact single. Size of room was fine, but I was very cold (sat under duvet with outer clothing to keep warm). There was an electric wall heater (too small for the room size). Didn't sleep well, either. Room would be fine for the summer.

Our room was on the 2nd floor and the property was a maze of staircases with random numbering on the doors, very difficult to navigate. Very boring view out of our room onto a office block (but I have to accept this is central London with limited space) Staff were very friendly which made the stay good.

Small but typical for European hotels.No elevator could be a problem for some travelers. Saving grace was the full English breakfast.My room #20 was up about 40 steps and faced the main street so was a bit noisy but tolerable. Spent 8 nights and would stay again when the need arises.

This is a cute little hotel that was comfortable for our family. The bathroom is tiny but the bedroom space was just right and the location was convenient and walkable to the underground and many restaurants.

My single room was tiny but I was impressed at the attention to detail which meant, despite the size, I still had tea and coffee making facilities, somewhere to hang clothes, a TV and my own en suite bathroom. Staff were great too. There is no lift at the property but someone helped carry my bag up the stairs. Location was great - very central but still quiet.

For the price, a great find.

The staff is personable & helpful. The breakfast is eggs scrambled or sunny side up, sausage, ham, toast, cheeses & meats, cereal, juice, water and coffee, and I think there were also English muffins and/or bagels. It is self-serve. The coffee is brewed and tasty. I had the single room. The bed is not quite as wide as a twin but long enough for a person six feet tall Small desk with cushioned stool, electric kettle for instant coffee or brewing tea, hooks on the back of the door to hang jacket, trousers, etc., and also hangars for shirts (5). There is a shelf above the shirts with hair dryer on top. Tiny lavatory, think airline bathroom size of sink with a small round bar of soap. The shower is small and has a curtain instead of glass, water is hot and pressure good. Shower soap is in a dispenser mounted to the wall. Be prepared for the stairs, there is no lift. The room is the smallest I’ve ever stayed in. For comparison, I’m in a Paris single and the room, bathroom and bed are slightly bigger for the same price. But I knew what to expect when I booked and it worked out fine. My only concern is the soap dispenser in the shower. It was clogged and I told them about it but they apparently could not fix it. The area around the hotel has pubs, restaurants (try La Dolce for a superb cappuccino) small stores with snacks and fresh fruit, and two regular grocery stores plus Boots pharmacy a three minute walk away in a small shopping area on the left.
