Great location.

Great location for exploring and not too far from Tower Hill tube station. Very helpful friendly staff. Our room was a little dated and very warm, we couldn’t get the temperature below 23 degrees but the view was amazing.

On the whole everything was good apart from the showers in the room. The handheld one had so many holes in the hose, it was useless and the main one just didn't hold it's temperature so it ended up being a cool shower.

The staff were great very accommodating. TV was old and dated the google chromocast didn’t work in the rooms but showed on the HDMI screen. AC in the room didn’t work was a steady 19-20 C the whole time. The bed was stiff and pillows flat Restaurant view was great but food was okay. Bar was great drinks were even better. All and all the room was okay but the property was really brought to life by the staff and bar along with the incredible view and area. Would stay again maybe just get a more expensive room higher quality room.

Great location

The room was comfortable but a bit dated. The bathroom needs refurbishing. There was rubbish in the soap tray and despite staying for 2 nights and having room service , they were still there when we left. There are coffee and tea making facilities and also 2 bottles of water. There is a safe which is also free of charge. I would suggest checking in online as there were long queues at the desk. Great location for the tower etc. Food and drink is very expensive so I would suggest eating somewhere around the hotel . There was a strange humming noice outside our room (172) all night which was a bit annoying but didnt stop us from sleeping. I think it is overpriced but I guess you are paying for the location.

We did not have a good experience. We did not have a working refrigerator or air conditioning in our room. The bed slanted to the side to the extent that when I reached to answer my phone I rolled out of bed and hit my head on the nightstand. We could not even get BBC or other news on our television set. It took two days to get a lightbulb replaced. We could not get bills changed into small bills for tips. Location was good.

We stayed here initially for 3 days. Our room was on level 2 adjacent to building works that were said to commence no earlier than 9am but the first hammer blow was at 8am. I suggested to a male at reception they move us, but his flippant was, we have to do work. A subsequent discussion with a young woman on our second pre booked stay was why didn’t you ask to be moved? We did!

The room I was allocated on the 6th floorwas undergoing reburbishment and several items needed significant improvement such as bathroom tile, My bed was a double but had a king size pillow top, the tissue box holder was properly attached to the wall the heated rail for towels wasn’t working, the cold earer fauscet in the bathroom was inopersble so I had to brush my teeth in near scalding water. I would add that I have been staying at this hotel for many years and the room standards have definitely slipped. I stayed at this hotel a few weeks back on the 3rd floor and it was even worse. I know the building is now aging but I’m surprised that Clermont would allow rooms in such a dismal condition from being rented out.
