The location and views are both world class, one star for each. The overflowing toilet (ours and at least 1 other on our floor), no Power points anywhere near the beds (an issue for those with overnight medical devices), wifi that didn’t work for 3/4 of our stay, and mould in the bathroom however were pretty woeful. A poor very out dated hotel in one of London premier locations, disappointing when the photos are incredible, but the product is lackluster. While the staff did try to help, you can’t polish a turd.

Our party of 6 were booked in for the night before due to a 6am arrival from a flight from South Africa for a conference starting that morning. Four of the rooms had been given away despite confirmation of the morning arrival. Staff were clueless and had to be reprimanded to take action. Some had to wait until 12pm despite paying for the previous nights accommodation and others were late for the conference

The room was perfectly fine for our needs was clean and roomy as we really only used it as a place to sleep and shower during our stay. The option to get a credit for food if you don't use the room cleaning service was a nice extra to help offset morning coffee and pastries. The staff were all very helpful. Would look to stay again on our next visit to London.
