Great hotel for the tower of London and views of the bridge! However the hotel is dated and needs upgrading ....the rooms are dark with no option of extra light. Beds were really firm also but some people like them that way i guess? Parking cost us £50 for 2 nights.

Swivel chair in the bedroom had a bolt laying on the floor so was not safe to use.the television did not wirk properly. Kept switching itself off every few minutes. I complained about it to reception 8am Saturday morning .then again at 3pm. Then five more times Saturday evening before they finally told me at 9.30pm that they would not do anything about it. I want a refund of some kind as a travel lodge would have been cheaper and just as comfortable ! If not better. The room never got cleaned and they did not replenish the water.

View from the room was amazing but that’s really the only positive. The room was outdated, the staff mumbled at reception, the towels were dirty, the air con didn’t work in the room which was 24.5 degrees… this meant both my partner and I woke up several times throughout the night. If you’re over 5”9 you probably can’t have a shower. I am 6”0 and the shower only just was above my shoulders…. Shame as it has such potential with the nearby sites!

The hotel was continently located near the Tower of London. Easy to walk to nearby attractions, and also to catch the tube, buses. Or Uber boat. Room was clean, water and tea replenished daily. The staff were amazing!!! They were so helpful and arranged transportation for me several times when I was concerned about being late to our reservations. Top tier experience!
