Great hotel. Near to Aldgate East tube. Modern. Room had coffee machine and a fridge. Impressive bathroom and shower. Staff polite and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful, with lots of options and well cooked hot food. Would definitely rebook.

Great London Hotel

I was visiting London for a one night stay with my disabled daughter. When we arrived to the hotel we were met by “ a very pleasant and happy “ member of the reception team called Yoyo who was superbly professional. She proceeded to offer us a free upgraded accessible room which was a terrific large room overlooking the high street and park views of London. The room had a wonderful walk-in large shower area within a big washroom and toilet area. The bed was extremely comfortable as well as a large settee bed. The room also had a nice gesture of supplying some free bottled water and a fridge to put it into. There were three lifts that can be used to the floor you require and a really good bar on the ninth floor with an outside seating area. The room was very clean and really pleasant to be in. The reception area also has a small cafe type area with very comfortable chairs and settees with plenty of cushions to choose from. The breakfast times had a choice of up to four hours to come down to the spacious dining room to enjoy a varied breakfast menu which consisted of fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, pastries of all descriptions as well as many different selections of meat and cheeses. The orange and apple juice were very tasty and tasted as they should do. The cooked breakfast had a full range for a full English breakfast, all of which you could help yourself as well as a good fresh variety of breads. The drinks machines gave you every type of hot drink you could possibly want.

Don’t pay £22 for breakfast

Great hotel for our need of the location. Clean, great service and fab roof top bar. Only complaint was the breakfast was cold! Tasted really good and fresh but needed to be kept hot! Don’t pay the £22 online! £10 offer when checking in!

Hotel self check in asks for repeats of all the info in the booking. What is the point? Room was too hot and bacon and sausages too cold. Staff were excellent and hotel has good vibe. NCP car is dangerous and unsafe. My car and 2 others broken in to overnight. See Google reviews and stop recommending it.

Pleasant stay

The hotel itself is in a great location, the room were spacious and well equipped with amenities. I didnt have much interaction with the front desk but the staff were friendly and polite and always greeted me when I entered the hotel. The rooms were clean but in need of some decorating there were some noticeable scuffs on the walls. Other then it was a pleasant stay there are numerous shops and restaurants nearby and the underground is a short walk away. They also provided some chocolates and water in the room which was pleasant suprise.

When we checked in the staff member let us know our room would be upgraded to a room with bathrobes and slippers and some other stuff. It sounded great. But our room was just a regular room, which was fine. That is what we reserved. I pointed it out later to the same staff person, just to let her know that our room was just a regular room and she said that if we wanted those things we had to ask for them. Just weird and confusing. We got no VIP upgrades or the free wine or anything that we were supposed to get. That being said, it is a fine hotel. Clean. Neat area with easy access to buses and the Underground.
