I got a reasonable price online. Hotel extremely convenient for theatres. Newly refurbished rooms, comfortable but on the small side. View was of the air shaft. Lifts excellent.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lovely hotel & staff very efficient, friendly & helpful. Gigi the lady who checked us in was very helpful. Unfortunately the sink in the bathroom was very slow to empty, if we’d stayed more than one night I would have got it looked at. The shower doesn’t have a door as such & the water goes all over bathroom floor which could make it slippery, it either needs a door or the shower tray should be deeper. But apart from that I would recommend this hotel. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice & variety.

Booked a basic room as would only use to change and sleep for one night. Room was not a bad size and furnishings were in a good state as is the hotel in general. Unfortunately when I went to bed there was a dreadful noise keeping me awake - they sent someone up with a key to a new room so obviously a known issue. Moved and upgraded which was nice and managed to sleep - unfortunately from early on the noise of banging doors as they closed could be heard constantly. Soft closures should be installed ! It’s not a cheap hotel so expectations are that big higher. Oh and loose the included trip on every bar transaction - just pay your staff !

Great stay at the Strand Palace

The room was cozy and clean. I enjoyed the cookies, tea and chocolate the hotel provided in the room. The hotel staff was particularly helpful in storing my luggage while I walked around the city both before check in and after I checked out. The location was fantastic!

This location was fantastic. Close to theaters, shopping, dining, the tube/train. The staff was great and helpful. The water pressure is awesome as well as the comfy bed. The air conditioner worked so well. I recommend this hotel.
