Comfort, the room felt homely, coffee (pod) and tea making facilities with chocolate on arrival was a lovely touch. Attention to the environment i.e option to keep linen without changing daily. Clean room and appropriate temperature in the room. Privacy and it was quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks for the umbrella at 0620 in the morning when I couldn't open the umbrella stand. Thanks to the receptionist who greeted me on arrival, wet and cold, and the women who answered my querry about using the vouchers for breakfast 'T

The Strand was such a find -- I picked it for being reasonably priced (I was there in early October so not peak tourism time) but loved the location and the hotel itself had a comfortable, professional vibe. It seems like an holder hotel that had a good facelift as I found the rooms very nice and the staff was fantastic. I also enjoyed having breakfast included as it was plentiful and easy. I will stay again on my next London trip!

The room was clean. The hotel is making efforts to go green. Whenever you asked for anything they sent someone to your room immediately. The doormen were excellent and helpful. The location was great! All good things to say about this hotel.
