The only problem is the name there are two Hilton garden inn at heathrow.i believed my booking was for the one at terminal 3 .it was not (but still the stay was fine).

I found the serve yourself cafeteria very convenient. My biggest disappointment is the fact that the hotel had rooms available when we arrived. But instead of giving us a room, they said we are early and check in wasn’t till 3pm. However if we paid 15£ ($30Au for us) we could have a room now. Penny pinching money grabbing at its best. If you have rooms ready then take care of your customers and make them feel looked after and special. I can guarantee that not one person who is charged the fee to get in a room early even though the room is just sitting there waiting for you, is jumping with joy saying it is a great service. The staff and hotel itself are very good, but I think the business structure should be happy with the amount you have charged the customer for the room and if it’s available when the customer arrives then just give it to them. The good will is worth more than the being ripped off feeling you are giving.

I thought I’d booked at the Hilton next to Terminal 2 so had to use shuttle bus. A long wait at the airport but the important early morning shuttle was punctual. Staff at the desk were helpful. Fish and chips on the menu was very average but bedroom was good and bed was comfortable.

Easy to confuse this hotel which is a shuttle bus from the terminals and the one with the same name that is in walking distance, which is a bit annoying. Good to stay here if you have an early flight

We had a great stay, we were only there for one night, but it ticked all the boxes. If you are bringing a car, do be clear about paying. We weren't and ended up being charged by the car rental - you know how that goes!
