Staff were excellent and the food and drinks in the bar and restaurant were terrific. Tasty, good choice and reasonable prices. The room was very noisy with so sort of motor running outside and the fridge being very noisy when it cut in. The air conditioning just stopped working twice in the middle of the night. A shower inside a high bath requiring a difficult step over is an accident waiting to happen.

The hotel has a pay gate to enter, so friends or family who are picking up or dropping off people have to pay to enter the property. The cost of a taxi to the airport was $18 pounds for a 10 minute ride! The hotel itself was wonderful.

Very disappointing. Given the reviews we were surprised how poor the cleanliness of the rooms, particularly the bathrooms were. We stayed here before we travelled and after we returned and the bathrooms were not cleaned properly for either stay. We also requested more tea and coffee for our room at reception. They said room service would bring it but it never arrived. The positives are the location with a pub and few eating options are close by. The dedicated Hoppa bus is also a bonus. For the price premium of this hotel we were disappointed with our stays.

My stay was fine until the housekeeping woke me up by trying to open my door at 9:30pm. When they realized the deadlock was on they walked away only to return at 9:45pm knocking. When I asked what they wanted, the answer the gave was to ask if my room was clean? Really bizarre and I have never experienced this in any hotel. I mentioned this to reception on checkout and they said yes housekeeping work until like 11pm. Just some feedback for the hotel - firstly people have flights to catch very early so they shouldn’t be knocking late. Secondly, if this was a solo female then I’d expect that a lady might be more frightened. It should not be happening and I won’t be returning to this hotel.
