All OK, except for the snack at dinner time. There was a bottle of water already on the table, which we assumed was there for the taking. However, we ended up being charged 5 pounds for it!! Not impressed.

Horrible check in experience

Horrible check in. Took over an hour for them to honor our booking despite me having confirmation on the hotels.com website, app and via email. The whole time they never said they would be able to honor and give us a room. Finally they did after sitting in the lobby for over an hour at the end of a loooong travel day.

This hotel is basically just a place to stay close to the airport for a flight the next day. The club sandwich in the restaurant was worse I ever had, chicken was thin and not fresh, then they added egg salad. Why? The shower was one of those european half open door which I absolutely do not understand why anyone would want that. Sure being half cold in the shower is just so comfortable- please. The shower also filled up with water quickly and if you didn't shower quickly the water looked like it would spill out into the whole bathroom. On the positive side, the bed was pretty comfortable and the staff was friendly at check-in. My advice, find another hotel there's plenty in the area.

The hotel was sufficient for the purpose of a stay close to Heathrow airport for a very early departure. No issues experienced at all. I was happy that they allowed me back to check in before 3:00pm.

Why oh why have online check in

So why do you have to stand in line and check in again when you’ve already checked in OnLine Checking in with reception took a painful 10mins And why I had to pay for one nights parking surely that should have at least come in with the room price The hotel itself one would say is tired and communal areas well used The room was clean and tidy and I know it’s picky but odd cups and no complementary biscuits Overall not great and a little disappointing

I will give this place 3 stars because it achieved the bare minimum of giving us a nice place to sleep and bathe the night before our flight. However, everything else about this hotel was misleading. The website notes services that they do not offer and lists items they did not have in stock which led to an extremely disappointing experience. I would not stay again.
