The staff changed my room without asking me. I had paid extra for a high room, when I got to my room and realised it wasn’t I had to go all the way back down and ask why I was on the second floor. They claimed they had upgraded me to airport view, but I would have just booked that if I wanted. They shouldn’t just assume you want an “upgrade” I then tried to order room service, was told they were busy but reception asked them to call me back when they were free. Waited 30 mins. No call. Called again and they answered straight away…so clearly the message hadn’t been passed on. When the food arrived, I had ordered nachos- literally swimming in some disgusting cheese sauce. But there was also cheese on them so they didn’t need the cheese sauce (I’m not talking about the sour cream), the sticky toffee pudding was really hard. The chips were tasty though, but £30 for some chips…..as the other food was inedible. Bed was comfy though, although was told it was sound proof and could hear the people and tv next door. Won’t stay here again. Could have complained whilst I was there but I was too tired. The fridge wasn’t working so the stuff I put in there was warm by the morning. The plug hole gurgled SO loud.
