Rooms were well kept but small. Design was minimalistic. Not sure if this is a standard thing in London or not. The building seemed to be purpose built and not an older one. You walked directly into the bathroom area. There was no dresser. Just a desk built into a corner. The clothes closet had the luggage shelf built in. But barely enough room to open a large suitcase We had to manage our two nights stay by leaving our things in our suitcases. Removing what we needed for each day. Employees were friendly and accommodating. But servers in the restaurant were similar to other servers in Europe. They seemed to be more apt to serve you your order and then disappear. If there was something else you needed, you had to wait and wait. Location was within walking distance of many things to see in London. If I’m planning to visit London again I may explore other properties.

This hotel is beautiful and clean and is in such a perfect location in London! Walkable to most landmarks and the tube as well as great restaurants. The rooms are small but that’s expected for any city accommodation! I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again next time I am in London. The staff were super friendly and the area felt really safe!

The sound proofing is poor and people in the hall and other rooms can easily be heard. There are no drawers to store clothes, so be aware of that. The lights in the bathroom and bedroom are all on the same switch making it difficult to use the toilet at night without waking your partner. The toilet and shower areas are tiled in black and the hallways are black making me feel unsafe and claustrophobic.

Good but with some minor issues

The location of The Westminster is excellent, it is in a quiet neighbourhood yet walking distance to Big Ben, Westerminster Abbey. Very convenient and a reasonably good hotel. Although a few things need to be improved in our room. First the toilet cistern wasn’t operating properly, we had to push it like 3 times to make it flush properly, it was like we had to pump it to make it flush. The floating floor was a mistake in the room as the shower door opens outward and the water drips on the floor and we can see water damage on the floorboard at the edge of the shower. The curtain was not clipped on properly at one end and we had to clip it back in ourselves to make it close properly. Overall it was fine but certainly needs some improvement.

The hotel was conveniently located just a brief walk from central London and Westminster. The concierge staff were so helpful; shout out to Alicante, excuse misspelling, but he helped us out with 3 bookings including a theatre show. The dining room staff with Nbyat and her team kept the food service running smoothly, no easy feat for a full breakfast crowd. The scaffolding on the building gave a darker-feel to the lobby. Hopefully completed soon, whatever the improvements are. Would solidly recommend this hotel.

This is a beautiful property with an artistic flair. We came for our honeymoon and everyone from the check in staff to the door men were absolutely a pleasure to deal with. It is a centralized hotel in a quiet area but a short walk to all sorts of landmarks. We would absolutely stay again!

Overall Good Stay

Overall experience was good. The breakfast variety was suitable and all service staff handling the breakfast were excellent. The staff at the hotel entrance were friendly and ready to assist. Housekeeping only provided the still and sparkling water on our last night even though it was suppose to be provided on a daily basis. FYI...the room was smaller than we thought but very comfortable.
