Room very clean. Staff very helpful. Bat closes at 11.30 even for Residents would suggest a Might Porter as used to be. Breakfast selection was very good , entry into dining room for breakfast was chaotic.

I booked a triple town - not because I needed the beds but this was all that was available and presumably the price reflected this capacity. When I arrived I noticed that the room was on the busiest street and was very noisy. I asked if it was possible to change the room that evening and was told that all the rooms were noisy and that it was central London and as such it was noisy. Not great customer service. After a very bad sleep I tried again the following morning to ask to change rooms. I was told that it would be no problem. I was then put in a room on the 7th floor (lift only went to the 6th) which was a single bed, a third of the size and totally overheated even with the radiator turned off. It was quiet but still too hot to sleep. Having had a bad first night I had hoped that the hotel would have wanted to improve my stay but it just felt that there was no real care. It may be that the hotel was at full occupancy but this was not explained to me or that whilst they were giving me a quieter room it was in fact a downgrade. I didn’t bother with breakfast either as the queue to get in to the dining hall was out the door.

I really loved the location of the hotel. It was also very clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. My room was a bit small, which I expected, but my bed was very comfy. My only complaint was my shower was tiny (I'm glad I'm small). Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and woild stay here again!

We loved that there was a bus stop and underground station very close. The room was small but nice enough for two people. We did not ish that the shower was fully enclosed but we worked with what we had — we just didn’t have the water at full blast so the water had enough time to drain. Staff was nice and we would stay there again.

Great breakfast but room warm for November, thankfully I had a fan in the room. Really bad smell in the bathroom when I checked it, which maintenance sorted quickly, although I requested a room change and never got a call back. Breakfast was brilliant, great range and choice. This is the third time I have stayed at the President hotel, I love the location, it’s super easy to get to all my favourite places in Central London. The rooms are simple but comfortable and you don’t need anything fancy when you are spending all your day out and about. Will definitely stay again.

This place was a terrible experience. I was given a room on the 7th floor. It was the size of a large cell and accessible by a rickety freight elevator (it was down for most of my stay, which meant hauling luggage down a flight of stairs to the other elevators where there was always a long wait) The room was hot and stuffy without any climate control (there was a radiator) Keeping the widow open helped, but that was a cold draft that either smelled like old kitchen grease or cut metal from the construction outside. This was middle of November, so I can't imagine how much of an unbearable hot box it would be during the warmer months. There was massive noise from construction going on outside during working hours. You could also hear everything through the walls and the floors were so creaky it was like trying to fall asleep on a pirate ship (thank God for noise cancelling headphones). On the positive side, the room was clean and the shower and toilet worked. That's a very low bar when you're paying +$200 per night. I stayed at a nearby hotel at the start of my trip and regretted not booking the same place on my way back. The guy at check in was courteous, but the woman at check out was really rude (which is impressive given that all you need to do is ask for the room number or last name). I would not recommend this place to anyone and had it not been prepaid I would have gone elsewhere after checking in.

Acceptably mediocre hotel in a very busy and central area of London. Nothing wrong, but nothing good either. Everything clean, front desk staff always there and polite. Room was so small as to be uncomfortable. Bathroom even worse. Couldn't move around shower, sink, or toilet and I'm not a big person. Plentiful full English breakfast every morning was a nice perk.

Clean room and a super-comfortable, cozy bed. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Walking distance to plenty of shops and restaurants. Only 16 mins' walk to the huge Primark on Oxford St. The lobby looks lovely as they've just put up their Christmas decorations. would definitely stay there again!

Reception staff excellent - professional and polite. Frustrating having to ring down from my room over and over again for an Iron and Ironing Board but no one picking up. Had to go without which is far from ideal. Rooms are clean and tidy as expected - tea and coffee selection not the best, but to be expected at a hotel like this one. Excellent location and efficient check out process.
