When we checked in there was only a handicap room available and the bathroom was very small and awkward. There were pulley cods and SOS buttons throughout. When I tried to address with staff I was told that was the only room in the pricing I picked and that the hotel was full so unable to change our accommodations. There are varying levels of rooms and ours was an interior room with no view. The best thing about this hotel is it’s location to some of London’s famous landmarks.

The best thing about this property was the location - great view of Big Ben and very close to both Big Ben & The London Eye. I've stayed here before and I was VERY disappointed this time around. The lobby reeked of men's cologne - overly strong. The rooms were never fully cleaned and we were never given enough towels - only 2 large towels, no hand towels, no washcloths (one day towels actually were delivered to the room still wet?!) The hallways had dirty glasses and dishware sitting in them for days on end (not getting picked up daily, also dishware from our rooms never picked up even when they had been "cleaned"). Breakfast buffet was NOT worth it - it was very dirty, messy and the food was not fresh. The staff was nice but the overall feel of the hotel was very, very dark. I would not stay here again. Disappointing.

The housekeeping was awful. The room was never restocked properly with toilet paper, bathroom tissue or coffee/tea/sugar. The room was small and didn't feel clean. You can also hear every little cough or noise from neighboring rooms. The restaurant staff was rude, passive aggressive and pretentious. The food was terrible for the cost. There are much better options for breakfast in the area for the price. There was also black mold growing in the room above the vent. I took a photo and showed the staff. The response was "sorry about that." I showed it again at checkout and to be fair, that lady seemed to take it more seriously. Just a bad experience over all. Felt like a rip off and completely puts me off of the brand.

The staff was incredibly rude. The breakfast was horrible. Hot breakfast items were cold. The buffet was not replenished. We were charged extra for eggs any style other than scrambled. The scrambled eggs in the buffet were not edible. This hotel is rated four stars, but it is definitely no higher than a three star hotel. Very disappointed.
