Positives - the room was clean and the bathroom nice - shower and bath included. Decent space for a family of four in a family suite. Great air con that could set to different temperatures in different parts of the room. Good breakfast. Good kids play room, suitable for my 8 and 11 year old. Excellent location. Not so great - this is a big, very busy (it was half term) hotel. Check in was chaos. The queue for breakfast was immense after 0845 - would definitely recommend getting there earlier. Personal bugbear - hairdryer had a very short chord and no convenient plug sockets. Ended up having to sit on the floor right outside the bathroom to dry my hair. Not convenient when a family of four is trying to get ready.

Fantastic stay! The hotel is designed in such a way that most rooms have a view of Big Ben and the Thames. The room was clean, comfortable, with a spacious bathtub. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful when we arrived jet lagged. The location is unbeatable, and there is a convenient cafe on the first floor. Would definitely recommend

Room was good, clean and a decent size. Check in was good, breakfast whillst busy still sat us quicly and there was plenty to choose from. Unfortunately the hotel was booked as a description stated the rooms were sound proof however this is most certainly incorrect. Ambulances, motorbikes and corridor noise was not great, particularly after paying for an in hotel upgrade to a quiet room on the 12th floor. It was located well for sightseeing which was what we wanted.

We booked this hotel especially so we could use the swimming pool to be told you had to book it in advance. But could only book it once checked in and then when we tried it was fully booked. Was very disappointing

Really disappointed as I treated my daughter to an overnight stay and we planned to use the pool when we arrived and it was out of order. We had packed our swim wear. That was such a shame. The room was nice. No milk or biscuits so I had to call to get replenished. Staff were helpful and did bring to room.

The lication is excellent for tourism but the hotel seams set up for 1 night stays. We had 2 small drawers for our things and they were in the living area of our room out of the bedroom area. Only 1 power outlet and zero USB plugs at the bedside. Checkin was slow. You would think on a night the hotel was full they would have more than 3 windows open. For such a large hotel. Housekeeping was frantically trying to get our room done at 6:30 one evening. We got 'dangerously' low on TP and ran out of facial tissue one day. And although the room and hotel appeared clean, our magnifying mirror base on the wall had the words "clean me" scratched into the caked on dust. And although I'm sure it is common seeing silverfish running around the bathroom isn’t something I expected. I get the feeling senior management is looking at profits over service.

We had to move rooms because it was dirty. The atmosphere was weird felt like they didn't really care about the hotel just knew they were in a nice place central. The bar was absolutely disgusting with flies and we told them and they said yeah we know. Another lady complained about her glass being dirty with the drink she just ordered. Everyone just kept saying oh sorry. It was just not somewhere I would go back to.
