One Aldwych is perhaps the nicest hotel stay we have ever experienced. We have stayed at higher rated London hotels in the past & have not been as wowed. Our room was exquisite. No detail is missed. The linens are Frette & amazing. Beautiful huge fluffy towels, lovely toiletries. The decor is tasteful with all aspects of the finishes being done to the highest standards. Note that the rooms are smallish but we had a suite with a separate sitting room & a 2nd toilette. It was lovely & more than large enough. The fridge was generously stocked with an assortment of beverages including fresh milk for the in room organic coffee. Snacks were also plentiful & at no extra charge. Breakfast was wonderful. Lots of choice, including a gluten free menu. Our breakfast was the best meal of our day. We were steps from Covent Garden & an easy walk to most of London’s highlights including theatres. The Lobby Bar is stylish & comfortable to relax in with a cocktail. It is not a good choice for food as the portions are tiny & pricy. If we could give this hotel 6 stars we would!

An excellent choice for theater

We were only in London for one night so we decided to stay in a different hotel to check it out. One Aldwych room was charming. Rm 611 a bit small but nicely appointed. Staff very nice.
