For the money this was ok. The room was clean, but this hotel desperately needs a refresh. We booked because of the price, but will probably stay nearby instead at one of the similarly priced hotels that have been updated.

Someones been drinking my water!

Everything was great apart from one of the complimentary bottles of water had been already opened and drunk from. Told housekeeping on our way out but was not changed by the time we returned. It was put right by reception on our return.

The location of this property is outstanding. Right across street from tube and all sorts of shopping and dining around. You can’t beat it. The staff are also very nice and try to be helpful. When we needed a new room they helped us right away. However, this hotel is old. Some rooms are fine, some are not. Our first one smelled of smoke. Also, we asked for a lot of basic things (blankets, towels) that would never be brought. The heating didn’t seem to work right. Very cold in the room but started to heat up in the middle of the night. A Scottish man next door was watching rugby and cheering really loud and it was like he was in the room with us. It was kind of funny, but not if we had a small child trying to sleep or something. I would recommend this hotel to those that want a good value in an excellent location. But not for people that might like to relax in their rooms on vacation.

Decent enough hotel

Decent hotel, rooms were comfortable although bathroom a little dated. Good location, friendly staff.

We thought the staff were great - particularly Fernando on reception who was very polite and very helpful to us - he was a real credit to you. The only downside was that we didn't have an iron in our room and the TV didn't work initially. We were also pretty cold in the room and didn't have access to an additional blanket. However, all of these are very minimal issues - overall we loved the hotel and the location and the staff and we will definitely come back. Many thanks, Graham

Location is great. Have stayed here a number of times, however appears to be run by a different group now. Waited 2 hours for check in. room not clean. Requested 2 glasses, next day requested two clean glasses were told to rinse out the existing ones.
