On my last day, the hotel slipped a form under my door saying that I needed to provide a credit card for extra charges. When I went to the front desk to ask what the charges were for, the manager said I had bought something. He was very supercilious when I told him I didn't think I had bought anything. He said "you don't THINK so, or you you KNOW you didn't?" I couldn't think of anything I had bought, so I asked to see exactly what the extra charges were for, whereupon he informed me that it was £8 for a beer. I said that I had not bought a beer. Instead of apologizing, he abruptly ordered the desk clerk to cancel the charges and turned away. I found his attitude rude and patronizing. Why not tell the customer at the outset, what the extra charges were for? Why did I have to ask? Not a very professional way to do business.

Low floor room with unbearable traffic noise due to ill fitted and single glazed windows to street level. Room not ready on time and long queues at reception and breakfast space simply too small for the 7.30am rush. Location is good. If I'd paid less I might have scored more highly but as it is this was a full market rate for the area and room type and was very poor value.

Everybody is friendly and helpful. The rooms are pretty small and the bed wasn't as good as I have experienced and come to expect from a Hilton property. Location is great, staff is awesome.

I recently stayed at Hilton London Olympia for two nights and was disappointed with the hotel condition and poor hygiene standards. We requested our bed sheets to be changed, the cleaners ignored the request. I've given the hotel 2 stars for a few reasons: -the rooms, although clean, are looking worn and dated. A refresh would bring this up to the price range and standard I would expect from Hilton. -related to this, the bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows went flat the instant we put our heads on them. The mattress felt old and sagging. A bed refresh is very much needed. -the shower screen is oddly small, so water goes everywhere. The hotel needs a major makeover. Avoid
