I used to love this property, and have stayed there many times over the years. The food wasn't great. When walking to the room, it almost smelled like a dead mouse. That wasn't the bad part. The room was exactly what I had expected. During my stay a water pipe burst, and no hot water. I understand that things like that happen. I took a very cold shower and went about my day. When I got back it smelled like sewer gas. It was awful. I was offered a room change, but the entire hotel smelled. I checked out a day early.

As always, the comfort level of the beds is a stand out. The service we received from the staff was very good and welcoming. Sadly, we were awoken on our final day with a fire alarm meaning we all had to evacuate the building quite early in the morning. Unavoidable but managed very well by the staff.
