From the day we arrived to when we left we'd had the most wonderful stay at The Copthorne Tara Hotel, at the guest relations desk a lovely lady called Jamila took care of our check in and questions , i wear a lanyard showing that i have disabilities and Jamila was so kind , helpful and friendly on more than one occasion , she is really a credit to the hotel. The room was very nice comfy and clean. We had breakfast for 3 mornings which was very good and catered for everyone . " ALL " of the hotel staff were amazing and so helpful and friendly and the added bonus was the hotel was only just over a 20 min walk to The Royal Albert Hall. We also ate in the Bugis Kitchen the food was excellent , plentyful and a good price. I would highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to stay again.

Found the staff unfriendly and rude nit being able to answer simple inquiries. No bell hops or valet parking after 7:00pm to help with luggage and car parking. Poor communication.

The Hotel was very Cosy and the staff were very friendly and helpful especially their GM John. He made us feel at home and would come speak to us and check on us whenever he saw us. He was so caring especially knowing that we had travelled all the way from Fiji 24hrs of flight travel to stay at his Hotel. He admitted we were his first guests from the South Pacific. He really made us feel at home.

Sadly the condition of the hotel has deteriorated. The rooms are shabby and not very clean. There was also a strong odor in the room. The staff however are friendly.

We were offered a room for disabled persons although we had booked 3 weeks in advanced and arrived 3 hours early for which they were going to charge an extra £30 to which l refused to pay, although we were told the room was ready. On checking in 3 hours later i was told my car was not registered although i had a receipt for £30. When we arrived in the room the heating did not work and the telephone to contact the reception did not work also, the only way to contact the reception was via the website. The bathroom was in need of updating and redecoration. It seems all the area's such as reception and communal area's were dressed up but behind the scenes needs updating badly. Very disappointing visit would not recommend to anyone.
