Don recommend staying here

Beds we so uncomfortable, no where to put your luggage. Closet had 2 hangers and no room to put clothes. No chest of drawers or anywhere to put clothes. Night stand on only one side of bed. No chair to sit in. To get to other side of bed you had to slide by wall and duck under tv. Bad water stain on wall. We had to put luggage on floor and couldn’t unpack at all unless you put it on floor.

The "executive double" room we were originally given was nothing like the photo, it was in the roof and I couldn't stand in half of the room. The staff were very helpful and moved us to another room and that had bugs in. But, at least it had Aircon because it was I hospitably hot when we got there.

The old buildings in the area have so much character. The attention to detail inside and out is amazing. I must admit that the space is much smaller than us Americans are accustomed too. but it was a lovely stay all the way around.

What a gem!

Perfect stay Reception staff were very welcoming and friendly and got us checked in early which was amazing. Needed an iron and called reception and had it promptly brought to my room. Room was lovely and clean bathroom also very clean, Netflix etc on tv, comfy bed tea and coffee and a fridge. Honestly cannot fault this place at all. Amazing price for such a great room. Unbelievable location too. 5* brilliant hotel and staff

Location of this hotel was great, which was one of the reasons for booking it, but the rooms were incredibly small. Upon check-in we were told we were being upgraded, but the upgrade consisted of a room in, what you could call the “lower lobby”, where you could hear trains rumbling by every few moments. That said, the hotel was clean and I felt the staff were wonderful.
