The property is perfectly located within Brayton, Paddys' River and Canyonleigh districts within an easy drive to all the townships of the Southern Highlands and the Sydney to Canberra corridor.
The spacious home has been thoughtfully renovated to offer the best of modern living with vaulted timber ceilings, an elegant kitchen with central entertainers' island, a range of comfortable living, dining and entertaining spaces with slow combustion and wood fires for heat and ambience and RC air con.
The sun filled living areas open to a large deck for alfresco entertaining and to really maximise and enjoy the district views. The home is on a ridge and offers generous accommodation through 3 large bedrooms - all enjoying picture windows and views. The master suite boasts a contemporary ensuite with free-standing ceramic bath.
We do not have any farm animals or crops so you are free to roam around the property as you like. The property has many dams/ponds, please do not swim in them and please keep your children away from them since they are not fenced.
The property is visited by Kangaroos on a regular basis so please be mindful and do not scare them away.
Things to do on/around the property:
- Our property has a crown land which is used for weather forecasting by the Bureau of Meteorology since it is located at a perfect latitude and longitude which allows them to do so. This makes it the PERFECT location for STAR GAZING also. It is located on a ridge so you can turn off the lights at nights and sit on the deck to stargaze. It also makes it the perfect location to view a sunrise/sunset (do not miss it). Do bring your telescope, if you own one.
- BYO plants and plant wherever you like on the property (please be careful though).
- You will be visited by Kangaroos/wombats on a regular basis on the property
- Great area for Dirt biking and bush walking

- Visit some of the many vineyards around the area such as Cherry Tree Hill Wines, Sutton Forest Estate Wines, etc
- Visit the Bangadilly National Park, Fitzroy Falls
- Stop at the Nattai National Park on the way to the property (from Sydney)
- Visit Nellie's Glen Picnic Area
- Visit Berrima Courthouse
- Wingecarribee River Walking Track
- Robertson heritage railway station
- Mount Carnarvon Walking Track
- Many many restaurants around the area
Guests can access the whole house and property other than the locked storage/garage area outside the main cottage. Directions to the property and access details will be messaged to the guest on the day prior to arrival.
The property utilises rain water tanks and a septic system. Since we live on dry country, please be considerate with your water usage and shower time and VERY importantly, please DO NOT flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilet.
Any extra guests (who are not part of the booking) who arrive on or after the check-in date will be charged $100/person per night.
We are a pet friendly accommodation. But please note no pets are allowed on the furniture and the guest must pay for any damage caused by their pets.
