Loved the view. The room was very hot when we arrived and took hours to cool down enough to sleep.Spoke to reception and were told someone would look at the AC soon. Nobody came. The bed was very comfortable but the pillows were very uncomfortable. The showerhead leaked badly. The room was very expensive and we expected our stay to be better. The staff were great. Probably won't stay there again.

The Staff & Property was indeed very pleasant. The Guest Bathroom in my room needed a clean around the base of the shower. The availability to access dimmer lighting in the room. The front door was jammed shut & I couldn't open the door. The thought of being trapped in a room was quite scary in the case of fire in not being able to open the door. Therefore Health & Safety, Fire & Chemical Standards were not met, From, Rosemary Godfrey

Rydges is great accommodation, walking distance to most things & and in house dining if you want. A particular bonus is that is right on the harbor, so you see a lot of boats (large & small) going right past your window! Gym arrangements were awesome. Car parking was an unexpected additional cost and inconvenience.

The parking attendants can’t drive properly, some can only drive automatic cars. At $35 a day for parking I expect them to be capable of driving manual cars. Very disappointing! They leave the drivers seat forward and leave the headlights on in the daytime. So be wary if you own expensive cars, these guys don’t seem to care. As for the in house food? DONT BOTHER, you would be better eating out of a service station, very poor quality room service. Rooms that cost 500 dollars a night, I EXPECT BETTER THAN WHAT THEY OFFER.

Excellent property. Really enjoyed my stay. The concierge gents are very helpful and the front desk staff are lovely. The staff at breakfast in the restaurant need to up their game a bit by watching for things that aren't filled up like milk, teabags and bakery items. Not very friendly either.

It was a nice place to stay with families. Breakfast was very nice except coffee system. It’s big hotel but room was noisy. In bathroom, there wasn’t hand washing soap. Every time we need to use from body washing soap because it’s all open systems bathroom.
